Meet Yesenia , Yesenia, is a proud native of Kannapolis. She graduated from South Rowan High School in 2020 and continued her education at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. In 2023, she achieved her diploma in Dental Assisting.

Yesenia finds fulfillment in her work by interacting with patients and aiding them in achieving confidence in their smiles. She believes in the transformative power of a healthy smile and is dedicated to ensuring her patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their dental journey.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Yesenia values family above all else. She hails from a family of four, including her caring parents and her older brother. In her leisure time, Yesenia indulges her passion for travel, exploring new destinations, and immersing herself in diverse cultures.

At home, Yesenia is accompanied by her loyal companion, Coco, a delightful Maltipoo who has been her faithful friend for five years.

Assistant

Introducing Julie, our compassionate dental assistant with a heart for helping others and a knack for building lasting relationships. Born in Salisbury and raised in Kannapolis, Julie is a proud alumna of AL Brown High School.

After high school, Julie pursued her calling in dentistry by attending Kannapolis Dental Assisting School. In 2023, she proudly received her certificate in dental assisting, marking the beginning of her fulfilling career in the field. For Julie, dentistry isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in people's lives. She finds immense joy in getting to know her patients on a personal level and cherishes the relationships she builds with them.

Outside of the office, Julie's life is filled with love and laughter. She shares her home with her supportive family, including her three sisters, mom, and dad. Julie's passion for creativity shines through in her hobbies; she's an avid scrapbooker and enjoys spending her free time exploring local shops for unique finds.

Julie's love for animals extends beyond caring for the two family dogs, as she assists in caring for various animals like goats and chickens on their family property.

With Julie's warm demeanor, dedication to patient care, she's an invaluable member of our dental team. We're thrilled to have her on board, bringing her unique blend of compassion and skill to every interaction.

Emily
Hygienist

Meet Emily, a dedicated advocate for oral health and patient care. Her journey in oral health care began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2018.

Born and raised in Kannapolis, Emily's roots run deep within her community. A graduate of A.L. Brown High School, she has always been deeply connected to her hometown. Emily excelled academically, graduating as the valedictorian of her high school class.

Her love for connecting with people shines through in her daily interactions, where she finds joy in meeting new faces and building lasting bonds.

Recently married to her partner, Matt, Emily enjoys sharing her love for outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking with him. She also has a green thumb and finds solace in gardening. An avid thrift shopper, she enjoys the thrill of finding unique treasures. Emily shares her home with her cherished pets: two cats, Sophie and Cersei, and a loyal dog named Ellie

Ann
Hygienist

Meet Ann, a dedicated dental hygienist who has been an essential part of our practice since its inception in 2001. Graduating from Fayetteville Community College in 1992, Ann's journey in dental hygiene began with a commitment to providing exceptional care to her patients.

Ann's life has been marked by adventure and service, as she accompanied her husband throughout his 24-year career in the Army, living in various parts of the world. Born in Maryland, Ann's experiences have shaped her into a compassionate and adaptable individual, capable of forming connections with people from all walks of life.

Despite the challenges of military life, Ann's dedication to her profession has never wavered. She finds joy in the relationships she builds with her patients, seeing them every six months and witnessing their progress firsthand. For Ann, dentistry is more than just a job – it's an opportunity to contribute to the dental and overall health of her patients, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to lead happy, fulfilling lives.

Outside of work, Ann's greatest joy comes from spending time with her family. With four children and eleven grandchildren, she cherishes every moment she gets to share with her loved ones. Whether she's helping to care for her grandkids, exploring the great outdoors on a hike, or simply enjoying a quiet moment at home, Ann approaches life with warmth, generosity, and a genuine love for those around her.
